Great to meet you! Hello, I’m Anjanette McCullar, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong background in education, counseling, and wellness. My path to counseling has been shaped by more than 15 years of working with children, adolescents, families, and communities—as a teacher, school counselor, group facilitator, and now therapist. I hold multiple degrees, including a Master’s in School Counseling and a Master’s in Educational Administration, along with specialized training in counseling, restorative yoga, and children’s yoga. This blend of education and wellness training allows me to approach therapy from a holistic perspective—supporting not only your mental and emotional well-being, but also recognizing how physical health, lifestyle, and environment influence your life. In my counseling work, I draw on my experience in both school and community settings to help clients navigate challenges such as life transitions, grief and loss, relationship dynamics, anxiety, self-esteem, and stress management. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I work to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. Because of my background in athletics, coaching, and wellness practices, I also integrate mindfulness, movement, and practical coping strategies when they align with your needs and goals. Whether we’re exploring patterns in relationships, developing tools for self-regulation, or setting steps toward personal change, I tailor my approach to fit you as a whole person. Above all, my goal is to meet you where you are, help you discover your strengths, and walk alongside you as you move toward healing and a more fulfilling life. A bit about my approach to therapy I believe therapy works best when it’s a collaborative partnership—where you bring your life experiences and I bring tools, perspective, and support to help you move forward. My style is warm, empathetic, and goal-oriented. I work to balance compassion with gentle challenges that help you grow, all while creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can be your authentic self. I take a whole-person approach, integrating mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being into the process. This often means blending traditional talk therapy with mindfulness, restorative practices, and practical skills you can use in everyday life. My background in education, school counseling, and yoga allows me to address both immediate challenges and long-term personal development. I specialize in helping clients navigate: Life transitions and adjustment challenges Grief and loss Anxiety and stress management Self-esteem and identity development Relationship and communication issues In every session, I tailor my methods to your unique needs—whether that’s providing a safe space to process emotions, developing action steps toward your goals, or learning new skills to handle life’s challenges with more confidence and resilience. My ultimate goal is for you to leave therapy feeling more empowered, self-aware, and equipped to create the life you want. What you can expect from our first session In our sessions, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and respected—no matter what challenges you are facing. We will work together to: Increase self-awareness so you can better understand your emotions, behaviors, and patterns. Develop coping strategies that help you manage stress, anxiety, and life transitions more effectively. Strengthen relationships by improving communication skills and setting healthy boundaries. Build resilience so you can face challenges with greater confidence and flexibility. Enhance overall well-being through a whole-person approach that considers your mental, emotional, physical, and social health. My sessions are collaborative—I will guide, support, and challenge you when needed, but you will always be an active partner in your own growth. Depending on your needs, we may integrate mindfulness, movement-based practices, and practical tools you can use in everyday life. By the end of our work together, my hope is that you feel more empowered, more connected to yourself, and more confident in navigating whatever life brings your way.
College can be one of the most exciting seasons of life — but also one of the most overwhelming. Between academic pressure, anxiety, relationships, family expectations, burnout, and trying to “have it all together,” many students silently struggle while appearing fine on the outside. I provide a supportive, judgment-free space where college students can pause, breathe, and focus on their mental wellness without pressure or shame. My approach is warm, relatable, and collaborative, helping students build healthy coping skills, improve self-confidence, manage stress, and navigate life transitions with clarity and balance. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem challenges, or simply feeling emotionally exhausted, you don’t have to carry it alone. Therapy can be a place where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to thrive both personally and academically.

Hi! My name is Michelle and I have a passion for working with women in the perinatal population, children, and athletes to improve their mental sport performance game! Navigating college and adulthood can be challenging and overwhelming! There is a lot to juggle and sometimes it can feel like a lot or you have to manage it alone. School or being an athlete can feel like a full time job. So it’s okay if you need someone to talk to, someone who’s been there and gets it. Because you don’t have to handle everything by yourself.

Others have spent their professional lives walking alongside queer clients and communities, engaging in continual learning, advocacy, and personal reflection to be the kind of allies who show up loudly and consistently. Our team includes LGBTQIA+ therapists and allied professionals from a range of racial, cultural, and gender identities. Some are in long-term recovery. Some are sex-positive and kink-aware. Some bring academic expertise, while others bring years of boots-on-the-ground experience in queer spaces, harm reduction, and sober living. When stress and emotional overwhelm build up, it can feel like you’re slowly losing yourself. I’m Esther, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I have a passion for working with young adults who carry a lot on their shoulders. I carry the lived experience of being a first-generation Latina college student of mixed heritage. I understand the emotional complexity of balancing cultural values, family expectations, and personal growth, and how isolating or overwhelming that process can feel at times. This perspective allows me to connect deeply with the unique strengths, resilience, and challenges that come with belonging to multiple worlds and sometimes feeling torn between them. My therapeutic style is grounded in authenticity— I show up as myself, using warmth, humor, and gentle directness to help you explore the parts of your life that feel heavy, complicated, or stuck. My goal is to provide clients the space where their vulnerability is honored, so that their own sense of authenticity can flourish. I specialize in anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship struggles, identity concerns, trauma, cultural and family expectations, and perfectionism. I earned both my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where my training was grounded in culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and person-centered care. I use a blend of therapeutic approaches tailored to each client, mostly drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and feeling a sense of connection matters. I offer a 15-minute consultation as a way for us to talk about what you’re hoping for, answer any questions you may have, and see if my approach feels like the right fit for you. If you’re ready to explore your story in a meaningful and empowering way, I’d be honored to walk with you through that process.

I provide online mental health counseling in Texas for couples and individuals to help build resilience, foster healthy relationships, and enhance emotional well-being. Does this sound like you? You feel your emotions very deeply. You struggle with perfectionism or never feeling good enough. You or your relationship is experiencing a life transition like adjusting to or graduating from college, getting married, or entering parenthood. You've been told you are a people pleaser and you overfunction when overwhelmed. You want tools to cope with big emotions and strengthen your relationship with yourself and others. You are not alone. Hi! My main goal is always to help my clients to help themselves, so you feel empowered to embrace stress and change as it comes. With experience working in an eating disorder hospital and 7 years working as a therapist in the Athletic Depts at UT Austin and CU Boulder, I've been involved with supporting my clients through the life challenges that high schoolers, young adults, and adults face for my entire professional career. I am EMDR certified and use this to treat trauma, eating disorders, chronic pain, urges in addiction/EDs, and sport performance (both positive reinforcement as well as treating mental blocks). I particularly enjoy teaching tools for navigating anxiety and depressive symptoms, helping to make peace with body image, and supporting mental performance for sport. I also have a passion for supporting perfectionists to expand their view of themselves and learn to release a little of the control that is actually controlling them!
