I am a licensed clinical social worker, licensed clinical addictions specialist and certified clinical supervisor who works with individuals and families in order to resolve issues such as: depression, anxiety, trauma, grieving, women’s struggles, gender identity, addictive issues and life transitions. I also provide supervision to clinicians seeking licensure. It takes a lot of courage to reach out to a therapist for assistance. The therapeutic relationship is of upmost importance to support therapeutic gains. If we find that I am not a good fit for your needs then I will refer you to someone who might be a better fit. I use a wide variety of modalities, to include cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, experiential therapy, solution focused therapy, brief therapies and EMDR. We will examine the issues that are causing difficulty for you and address the continuum of coping skills that may be helpful to your situation. I have worked for over 20 years in mental health and substance abuse services. My goal is to assist the people I serve to live more fulfilling lives. I am a provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medcost, Aetna, Cigna, Coventry and most major insurance companies. I also provide documentation to clients with other insurances so they may file their own claims if they choose. PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST VISIT, to learn whether your insurance will cover our therapy, please contact your Benefits Director or call the number on the back of your insurance card. Some insurance companies require pre-authorization calls in order to cover ANY psychotherapy sessions. You are responsible for payment of any deductibles, co-insurance or co-pays at each session unless other arrangements are explicitly discussed. INCLEMENT WEATHER Ida can usually make her appointments on time despite Boone’s erratic winter weather. If weather prevents her from meeting you, she will contact you in advance. She requests you call 828-265-0190 if weather prevents you from meeting. Rate: Insurance rates for individual insurers/insurance companies. Mental health affects our relationships, and our relationships affect mental health. The quality of our social connections is the greatest predictor of well-being, which is why helping clients build healthy relationships of all kinds and heal from past relationship trauma are my counseling passions! My additional areas of specialty include anxiety, burnout, mood disorders, and substance use disorders – whether it’s you or a loved one who is struggling. In our sessions, we'll foster deep self-understanding and self-compassion, deconstruct patterns that no longer serve you or align with your values, and work collaboratively to create meaningful, long-lasting change. I offer individual, couple, and adult family therapy sessions. While my approach is unique for every client, I always use a strengths-based, encouraging, empathetic, and nonjudgmental lens. Skills training in emotion regulation, coping, communication, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, stress management, and mindfulness are integral to my work. Clients' holistic wellness is a top priority in my therapeutic process. Together, we'll analyze your overall well-being, including emotional, social, physical, and even professional, then create specific goals to get you on the path to balance and fulfillment. If it sounds like I'd be a helpful addition to your healing journey, reach out to schedule with me!

I’m Chesilin Suek, PMHNP, and I’m dedicated to helping adults and teens who feel overwhelmed by anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that dims their spark, ADHD that makes life feel like constant catch-up, or OCD that traps them in exhausting cycles. Together, we create space for healing, clarity, and forward momentum. I offer a supportive, judgment-free environment where you’re met with understanding, encouragement, and respect every step of the way. My approach focuses on treating the whole person—not just symptoms. While I provide evidence-based medication support when appropriate, I also look at sleep, stress, relationships, lifestyle, and the deeper patterns that influence how you feel and function day to day. Care is never one-size-fits-all; we work collaboratively to create a plan that aligns with your goals, values, and real life. You are not broken, weak, or a burden—you’re human, doing your best in a world that can feel overwhelming. You deserve to feel better, not just get by. You deserve hope, energy, and something to look forward to. You don’t have to keep surviving on autopilot. Together, we’ll untangle what’s holding you back and work toward the life you’ve been wanting and deserve.

I help high achieving and sensitive women to stop doubting themselves and start feeling grounded and confident. Often, I work with people who are tired of keeping it all together and holding things in. People like you who are done putting themselves last and ready to step into themselves and own their worth. Perfectionists who are ready to let go of having to be perfect all the time. Maybe you’re always the one people can count on, yet you have a hard time accepting help from others. Or you feel as though something is weighing you down, though you can’t quite pinpoint what it is. You look like you have it all together from the outside but you aren’t satisfied with your relationships and know there is more to life. You long to feel seen, heard and understood. Together, we will create space for you to get in touch with yourself and your needs. In working with me, people find themselves having the confidence to make decisions that align with their values and lead to desired change. In sessions, I strive to create a space for people to feel seen, heard and understood on a deep level, with the opportunity and safety to explore their inner worlds. I create offerings that encourage growth, self-discovery and healing through the practices of talk-therapy, EMDR, self-compassion, mindfulness, the Enneagram and yoga.
