I’ve been practicing psychotherapy for over 25 years and have developed a personal style that draws from a variety of perspectives including psychodynamic, cognitive/behavioral, DBT, family systems, mindfulness, and multicultural awareness. My goal is to offer a safe, collaborative space where you can explore what’s getting in the way of living more fully and develop new ways to connect with yourself and others.
Many people learn to hide feelings of fear or sadness to protect themselves from being hurt. In therapy, I work to create an atmosphere of trust and compassion where you can begin to let go of self-protective patterns that no longer serve you, and build on your natural strengths and capacity for growth. Together, we can help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected in your relationships and your life.
I work with people ages 15 and up on a wide range of concerns, including relationship issues, depression, anxiety, academic or work stress, and life transitions. I also work with individuals who are neurodiverse and am LGBTQ+ affirming.
As an Asian American, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work and truly enjoy connecting with clients from all backgrounds and identities.
