Annette Godbout

Hi, I’m Annette Godbout, LCSW. I’m a licensed therapist with nearly 6 years of experience supporting individuals of all ages and from all walks of life. I truly believe that everyone possesses the tools within for self-healing and recovery, and I would be honored to walk beside you on your journey. I believe the first step in healing is being given a safe and nonjudgmental space to truly be seen and heard. I give every client a space of warmth, empathy, acceptance, and support.
My approach draws from evidence based modalities including EMDR, CBT, and DBT. My unique skillset positions me to help you find your happiest and healthiest self that already exists within. My years working with children in behavioral health, transitioning to teens with complex trauma, and spending the last years working with adults of all ages gives me a robust repertoire to pull from for clients of all ages. Ultimately, everyone is different and there is certainly no “one size fits all” path to healing. I would be thrilled to help you find your path.
I specialize in life transitions, emotional regulation, trauma processing and recovery, anxiety, depression, grief work, and overall stress management for the overwhelm that daily life can bring. I bring a client focused approach to my practice helping clients build insight and emotional resilience to evoke long lasting and meaningful change.
